Senior Software Engineer

I'm a full-stack software engineer with deep front-end expertise and over 9+ years of experience building production systems at scale. Throughout my career I've worked on platforms with 12M+ and 18M+ unique monthly users across different companies, including Zappos (an Amazon company), a company belonging to Itaú, one of the largest banks in Latin America, and companies in Australia and the United States, collaborating with global distributed teams. As a contractor via Tecla and OnChain Studios, I've also built web experiences for brands like Disney and Mattel. I'm currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence, adding AI/ML knowledge to my background in JavaScript, React, data structures, algorithms, unit and integration testing, UX/UI design processes, and RESTful API design applied with agile methodologies. Outside of work, I love to travel and have had the pleasure of visiting countries like Argentina 🇦🇷, France 🇫🇷, the Netherlands 🇳🇱, Portugal 🇵🇹, and Spain 🇪🇸, as well as exploring many states across Brazil 🇧🇷, each place leaving me with a deep appreciation for its culture and beauty. I'm also an amateur musician: self-taught on electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, and drums. Music has always been a creative outlet for me. Above all, I cherish the time I get to spend with close friends and family.
